On 14 January 2026, Judy Kingswolf-Yamakawa presented at The Cancer Tech Accelerator (CTA) Conference 2026, held at the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering (LIHE). The event brought together innovators, investors, researchers, and industry partners to explore the future of oncology, celebrating breakthrough cancer technologies from early-stage discoveries to patient-ready solutions. Inna Zhuranskaya also participated in the conference, engaging with leaders in the cancer tech ecosystem. Backed by Cancer Research UK and Cancer Research Horizons, the CTA has supported over 200 researchers and early innovators since its inception in 2021, helping them raise nearly $50 million in combined equity and grant funding. As the UK’s largest cancer tech accelerator, CTA has been pivotal in turning cutting-edge research into scalable startups with real-world impact. The day was filled with insightful keynotes, pitches, panels, and networking sessions. Judy presented on the latest advancements in cancer tech, while Inna participated in discussions on medical devices and cancer, as well as the future of investor engagement in the sector. The conference also featured sessions on policy and national strategy, with speakers from industry and government sharing their vision for the Cancer Mission.
