From 6 to 13 December 2025, we had the privilege of hosting Prof. Amichay Meirovitz, Chairman of Oncology at Soroka Medical Center, for a week-long visit. During his time with us, Prof. Meirovitz reviewed the progress of both our wet and dry labs, ensuring alignment on ongoing research and development initiatives. In addition to the lab reviews, Prof. Meirovitz delivered impactful lectures at the New North London Synagogue and King’s College London. He discussed exciting new innovations in cancer treatment and shared Soroka Hospital’s inspiring story of resilience after the devastating Iranian missile strike in the summer of 2025. His visit not only deepened our collaboration with Soroka Medical Center but also provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of cancer care and hospital recovery in times of crisis.
